Like many of our weekends, we went to the lake for a little bit of family time. Unfortunately Sonni has gotten her first cold/allergies. She has had a runny nose, a cough, and sneezing all weekend long! She is terribly pitiful. So she and I spent the weekend in the trailer and did not go out on the water at all. It was still a nice trip. On Saturday morning we went to the park for a short visit and spent the evening cooking with friends and watching football. There are so many little ones running around and it is so fun! These kids are going to be great friends!

Aubrie Rose loves to help with baby Sonni. She is three and such a big helper.
We attempted to get a picture of all the kids together. For future purposes in order from left to right Sonni, Dawson, Aubrie Rose, and Molly Palmer.
We wanted to get a picture of Molly Palmer and Sonni together-finally, but turns out it is really hard to get two infants to pose! They really just wanted to eat each other's face and probably for us to leave them alone.
This afternoon we went to the ball fields to watch our nephew Carson play ball. He is on a traveling team and we don't get the opportunity to see him play very often. It was a bit chilly and rainy and I am sure Sonni didn't need to be in the weather, but we wanted to go out and support Carson and his team. Sonni spent most of her time at the game snuggled with her daddy! They lost but we enjoyed watching him play.
On the way home she perked up a little and was quite a happy girl.
This is a picture that I took sometime last week of Sonni and Big John sleeping on the couch. She loves to snuggle.
Despite being sick all weekend Sonni hasn't been too terribly fussy. She seems to have ups and downs in how she feels. Apparently there is very little you can give infants for colds or allergies so I got her some vapor bath and vapor rub for her little chest. Of course we have to have boogie wipes and a humidifier. As well as the occasional Tylenol. I hope that this doesn't last long because it breaks my heart to see my little bug not feeling well!
