First Babysitter!!!

Last night we had an engagement party for Michael David & Kerry Ann. Gigi was out of town and Buddie & Big John were attending the same party so we decided to get a babysitter for the night. Pop was more than willing to take on the task, but we need to establish a good babysitter and I wanted her to be home Sunday morning since I had to work in the afternoon. Mrs. Connie's granddaughter Lilly was our first "outside the family babysitter." She came to the house around 7. Since it was our first time away and the party didn't start until 7, I went ahead and gave Sonni a bath, put on her pj's, and fed her dinner. Although Erica brought steak and corn on the cob later and I think Sonni might have had two dinner's! She is used to Lilly being at Mrs. Connie's and didn't even cry when we left! (This was a relief!) I think that Lilly did a great job and I hope that she'll be willing to watch Sonni in the future!
