As of today I am officially finished with school!!! YAY!!! All I have to do now is wait until Dec 16th, which is graduation. After graduation, I will be able to sit for the state board exam to officially get my license as a Family Nurse Practitioner! Today was my last day of clinical EVER! I am so happy!!!!!!!! Not that I don't learn a lot at clinic, but it is hard to go to work everyday and not get paid!
Unfortunately, tomorrow starts a streak of working at the hospital until I pass boards and find a job. In case you couldn't tell...that is not my favorite place! However, I am very thankful to have a job period. Especially this time of year and so many without jobs! I think my checkbook will also appreciate me working a little more often! Haha.
Last night we had Joel, Mckenzie, and Hartley over for dinner. The guys worked on their duck blind while we cooked and the girls played. Sonni and Hartley absolutely, 100%, LOVE each other!!! It is crazy! Last night when they left Sonni laid out in the floor in front of the door crying for a good 5-10 minutes.
Now, I don't want you to think that we are horrible parents who just sat and watched this...but she would not let you touch her or pick her up...she wanted Hartley (or Mckenzie...not sure which one!).
Another big milestone that I must mention!!! Monday night I set Sonni on the big girl potty while I ran her bath water. She went which I didn't think was a huge deal bc of the running water and all....but when we got out....she pooped and peed on her little potty. Then again yesterday morning I asked if she needed to go and she pooped and peed on the big girl potty again!!! I am very impressed, especially by the poop!! I can't believe my baby is almost big enough to face this milestone! Time is flying by WAY TOO FAST!!!!
