Today Sonni is NINE months old! It is hard to believe that it has already been nine months since this little girl came into our lives. She is perfect! We are so very blessed to have the opportunity to be the parents of such a precious child and I thank God everyday for blessing us with her. Our lives would absolutely not be the same without her! At nine months Sonni weighs 21 pounds and is 29 1/4 inches. She is in the 97th percent for both height and weight (She is the size of a 12 month old). She is very mild mannered (for the most part). She is eating all kinds of baby food and beginning to eat a few table foods. She wants to eat whatever everyone else is having! We are not crawling forward yet but moving backwards and making definite attempts in the right direction. She is not pulling up yet but is able to stand and hold on to something with a little support. This one has no reason to crawl because someone is always waiting on her hand and foot, but I'm not rushing it and I think she will be on the move in the next week or two. She has four teeth (two on top and two on bottom). Bath time is probably her favorite time of the day...except when Daddy comes home. She is waving, giving high fives, and when you ask her "How big is baby Sonni?" she will raise both of her arms above her head. She will also play ball and likes to sit in the floor and play with her toys. She seems to really like the men...Daddy, Big John, and Pop are three of her favorite people. She is starting to be a bit partial to the people that she is around often. She will mock the noises you make with your mouth. For example, making kiss noises, spitting around her tongue, or just mocking any noise that you make. This is such a fun age because she is really beginning to interact with you..but as always is it very bittersweet to watch her grow and change so much. It is hard to believe that in three short months we will be having a first birthday party! Time is literally flying!
We are very busy this month and getting more and more mobile everyday!
Standing!
Bath time
We are so thankful to have a healthy, happy little girl. We are also thankful for all of our friends and family that love Sonni and are such a big part of her life. We are so lucky to have so many people that support us everyday and help with the journey of parenthood!
