Wednesday night Will and I loaded everything up when we got off work, picked Sonni up from Gigi's and headed to Sardis for the weekend. It was hot, but we had a great time with family and friends. Will and I spent the first two days working around the trailer and tying up some lose ends from our pourch project. I got the bed swing I have been wanting! And I love it! The pourch looks great, but I forgot to take a picture of our finished product. We were finally able to get Gigi and Pop down on Friday. We have been wanting them to come spend some time down there with us since we got our new place last year, but due to conflicting schedules they are just now getting around to it! Unfortunately, they didn't get to go out on the water because as luck would have it the drought ended when they got to the lake. But we had some good food and enjoyed spending time together. Buddie and Big John also came on Friday. They had been at the beach all week and were itching to see Sonni! We did go out on the water Saturday, but mom and dad had to go home for a birthday party.
