Weekend Fun

Will was out of town all weekend on Nicky's bachelor party so it was just me and Sonni. Friday night Sonni spent the night with Buddie and Big John while I went out to dinner with Laura, Tania, Magen, Mardi, and Emily. We went to Cortona in midtown. That is a restaurant that Laura's friend Courtney and her fiance opened. They have the most amazing Italian food! I enjoyed a much needed visit with these friends that I have not seen since right after Sonni was born. Unfortunately due to our busy schedules we don't get much time to hang out and it was really nice. Tania brought Sonni a little happy....or maybe I should say a big happy!

Saturday Sonni and I spent the day at Gigi and Pops. Nana had surgery on Friday so Aunt Donna was here and Granny came down for a visit. We enjoyed spending the day with family and they enjoyed seeing Sonni. She was a little fussy this weekend because I think she is getting her first tooth! You can feel it beginning to come through her gums.

Tonight we had Will's family over to the house for BBQ. Amanda, Monnie, Dan, Buddie, and Big John came. Also Colby, Carson, Gracen, and Hyatt came. The kids enjoy playing with Sonni and we had a wonderful dinner. It was a nice relaxing weekend with family and friends before a long week of work and school.
On Saturday our friend's Lizzy and Charlie had thier baby girl at 25 weeks. She is in the hospital at the Med right now. I don't really know any details about what happened, but they need our thoughts and prayers.
