I wish I could say that I had a wonderful Thanksgiving that was filled with family, friends, and food...but it could not have been more opposite! This is not to say that I did not have a ton of things to be thankful for...my Thanksgiving Day just did not involve these happy times. Will was working nights and I had to work Thanksgiving day...Jan and Johnny went to the lake and Mom and Dad went to Shelbyville...so Sonni spent Wednesday night and the first part of Thanksgiving day with her Aunt Monnie and her extended family and then finished up the afternoon with Mckenzie, Joel, and Hartley. I was very distraught over the fact that she was not going to be with Me, Will, or our parents. Yet at the same time I am very thankful for all of the people who did and were willing to take care of her even on a holiday. After my 12 hour shift was complete and I was getting ready to leave to see my precious angel..I hit the curb and got a flat tire. This was a huge ordeal since everyone was out of town and Will was working...my cousin Rob ended up coming to the rescue and changing my flat since security refused to help! And I am very grateful for him coming to my rescue! SO....at 9:20 I finally left the parking lot at work tired and hungry...it was to say the least the worst day
I have had in a while not to mention a Thanksgiving that will go down in the books. However, I am still very thankful on this day for my loving husband, my beautiful daughter, my family, health, my job, the ability to be going to school, and many many other things! I wish I had a picture of bug to post from Thanksgiving Day, but since she was fussy and I was not there...I don't have any pictures!
