Today Sonni turned seven months old. I am blown away to know that it has already been seven months since she entered into our lives! Will and I love this little girl more than life itself. It is an amazing thing watching her grow and change on a daily basis. At seven months she weighs 18.4 pounds and is 28 1/2 inches long. She loves her binky and is sitting up really well on her own now. She is able to sit on a blanket with toys and just play and play. She is still sleeping all the way through the night. She is eating more and more baby food everyday. She eats cereal and fruit for breakfast and a vegetable and fruit or two vegetables for lunch and dinner. She is just beginning to eat the cookies/crackers that dissolve. She is able to take some peas and put them into her mouth and she ate on a real banana for the first time today. She is drinking water with about a teaspoon of juice in it and loves it. She is sticking out her tongue and waving. She will also occasionally give a high five. She has three teeth...two on the bottom and one on the top. Her hair is beginning to grow a little more and I am able to put a small bow in it. She loves her "lamby" which was lost for some time...but we found it in the nursery at church. We bought several to replace it but she was not as interested in them. I am not sure who got her this sweet lovey for a gift, but she loves it! It has a bunny on it and is silk on one side and soft on the other and says "The Lord is my Shepard" on it. So THANK YOU to whoever got it for us! When we rock at night she takes her hand and grabs at your face. She is not crawling yet, but I am not sure that she every will. I think she will just take off walking one day. She loves her jump-a-roo and Mckenzie was kind enough to let us borrow hers because mine did not bounce! She also loves her daddy! When he gets home from work...she cries when he puts her down! She loves to read books at night and watch her brother (Chief) play. She is still drooling like CRAZY! She is also working her hands more and more everyday and is amazed by them...She is a busy body and very interested in what is going on around her. I think she may be a tad on the nosey side! She is laughing like crazy and the sweetest/best baby ever! My next child will probably be terrible! We love her more than life itself!
The last couple of weeks have been really hard on mom and dad! Mom is ready for this semester to be over so that I can have a little break from school. Mckenzie is graduating this month and I am completely JEALOUS! No other way to put it! I wish it was me that was going to be finished with school. Every time I think about the next year I get a feeling of dread about what is to come. But this too shall pass and before long it will be me that is graduating. It will just take time and I know that. I have been in school almost my entire life so what is another year...We have both been working really hard...especially daddy! He has worked like 15 days in a row! I am very thankful to have such a hard working man in my life to take care of me and I know that Sonni will grow to appreciate it as well! So, thank you so much Will for everything you do for us! We cannot thank you enough!
